Living in 84 countries are over 750 adult missionaries with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International who actively teach and preach the Word of God. These missionaries and their families are sent in obedience to our Lord’s command from 246 independent Baptist churches.
Communicating and caring for each of these families can be an overwhelming task for many sending churches. The Missionary Care Offering is the vehicle that enables the World Mission Service Center to minister in a proactive way to our missionaries and equip our sending churches to successfully deal with times of crisis.
We now have a team dedicated to ministering to our missionary kids and we are actively pursuing deeper relationships with our MKs and their parents to prepare, encourage and support them during times of transition.
We are connected to experts in the field of worldwide security and are providing our missionaries with training to help protect them in case of emergency in this chaotic world we live in.
The Missionary Care Offering greatly helps our missionaries attend the annual Missionary Family Reunion. This time together helps refresh and encourage the entire missionary family while keeping them focused on the task for which they have been called.
In 2016 we held our first international regional retreat and is was a huge success! We brought together missionary families from various countries in that region and all came away blessed by spending times with each other and being encouraged by the assisting church as well as the Mission Office staff.
The Missionary Care Offering resulted in direct ministry to over 300 missionaries in the past year. This offering is just one of the many advantages of being a part of a Fellowship of churches that band together in prayer and financial support for those who have answered the call to take the Gospel globally.
