La Mesa Church: A Table in the Trenches

Arroyomolinos is a city of over 38,000 people with the highest percentage of children per capita in Spain.

Until recently, Arroyomolinos had no evangelical church.
Not one. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Faith here is often seen as cold tradition. Religion feels institutional.
God seems irrelevant.
But, we believe Jesus changes that.

Recently, after celebrating our one-year anniversary, La Mesa took a huge leap of faith and signed a five-year lease on a physical space — a 150m² (1,615 sq. ft.) building in the heart of the city —that will become a hub for ministry in our city and beyond.

We are stepping into a season of building in a spiritually dark land, where the enemy has long had a foothold and we expect.. NO… we often experience resistance.

But Jesus said, "I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."

Jesus is absolutely building His church and building and preparing a table (La Mesa) in the presence of the enemy, and together, he is inviting us to join Him in this work. 

This building will not just host services;
It will be a kingdom outpost — offering worship, discipleship, creativity, hospitality and healing for the soul, where people of all ages can learn, grow, belong, and encounter the love and truth of Jesus.

The name La Mesa means "The Table."

And, this is what we want every soul in this city to hear:
Jesus is here. There's room at His table. His love is real. And it's for you.


We Want To Invite You To Help: Bless It and Build It

We are blowing the trumpet — a holy rumble shaking across oceans and through digital waves — like in the days of Nehemiah, calling God's people to rally.

This is an invitation into a sacred mission: Bless it! Build it!


Bless it —

Before a single room is filled with chairs, it will be filled with Scripture, praise, and prayer.
Before the walls are sealed with paint, they will be covered in blessing.
We're asking believers around the world to help cover this building with prayers, Bible verses, words of praise, and blessings — written directly on the walls, beams, and floors.

The Bible reminds us again and again that when God's people pray, He responds in power — physically spiritually, and supernaturally:

• In Acts 16, Paul and Silas prayed, and the foundations of the prison shook. Chains fell. Doors opened.
• In Acts 12, the church prayed, and an angel was sent to set Peter free.
• In 1 Kings 18, Elijah prayed, and fire fell from heaven.
• In Joshua 10, Joshua prayed, and the sun stood still.
• In Exodus 14, the people cried out, and God parted the sea.
• In Acts 2, united prayer brought the Holy Spirit in power, changing history.

Prayer is not passive.
Prayer shakes walls. Opens gates. Revives what's dead. Brings heaven to earth.

Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Mark 11:17)

We believe this space is more than a building — it's a house of healing light for our city, and a place where people will come broken, hungry, and searching — and leave transformed by the presence of God.

Let's cover the walls with the very thing God inhabits — the praises of His people.
Let's write His Word into the frame.
Let's fill this place with the fragrance of prayer — the incense of the saints.


Build it —

This is more than construction — and one thing is certain.

We are not building for comfort — we are building for IMPACT!

But there are practical needs, and we are inviting others to join us in a practical way through faith filled generosity and offering something similar to the church of Christians at Philippia where we could say that your gift and generosity is a "sacrifice well pleasing to God." —

The funds will help cover ministry/startup costs, including:

• Remodeling, furnishing, electricity, etc…
• Legal setup, nonprofit registration, deposit, insurance…
• Heating/AC, soundproofing, technology,…
• Building Launch, new ministry expense in building….

All donations are tax-deductible and go directly toward the mission in Spain.

How to Participate

1. Make a donation of any amount to support the building of the La Mesa Ministry Center.
2. In the note/comment section, include a prayer, blessing, Bible verse, or praise — for our family, this church, this city, or this space. Members of our local community will hand write your words onto the walls, floors, and beams — so every room is covered. Whether you give €0.50 or €50,000, no gift is too small, and no prayer is wasted.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds shouted praises and declared Him King.
The religious leaders told Him to silence the people — but He refused.
"I tell you," He said, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." — Luke 19:40

We are here to declare Jesus as King over this city.
We are here to lift up praise in this place.
We are asking for God's Living Word to move through this community.

And we will keep praising. We will keep proclaiming His abundant love.

But even if they try to silence us in Arroyomolinos, let it be known —

"I tell you, even if we keep quiet… the walls will cry out."
