Wyatt Church Property

The congregation of this now closed church had a long-standing tradition of serving the community, both locally and beyond. As I walked through the building, read the plaques, saw the organ piano, and stood at the pulpit, I reflected on the countless lives transformed for the cause of Christ over the church's 130-year history.

The thought of this grand building being used for anything other than a place where the community can find the loving arms of God is disheartening. Therefore, we desire to purchase the building and preserve its original purpose: to teach and preach the gospel of our Lord and Savior. We intend to use the building for various ministries, meetings, and opportunities for people to learn about and experience the love of God.

Community Baptist Church has been established for over twenty years, but we currently lack a permanent home for our congregation to meet and worship. Acquiring this building would provide us with that much-needed home—a place where we can hold regular weekly services, special events, prayer gatherings, and a place where we can reach the community for the cause of Christ.
