Bill Merritt
Bill and Dorothy Merritt were approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to the Philippines in 1970. Bill is a 1969 graduate of the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Dorothy is a 1954 graduate of the Baptist Bible College. They resigned from the Baptist Bible Fellowship in 1977. They were reinstated as missionaries to the Philippines in 1981. The Merritts resigned again in 1992. They were reinstated as SMORS (Skilled Missionaries Offering Relief Services) in September 2000. Dorothy Merritt passed away on November 7, 2017. After many years of faithful service, Bill retired January 31, 2022.
