David Homer
David and Candy Homer were approved as missionaries to Hong Kong in May 1982. The Homers served as USLG (United States Language Group) missionaries from February 2000 until they transitioned to Taiwan in May 2004.
David graduated in 1981 from the missions course at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College, Santa Ana, CA. He also holds BS in Political Science (1976) from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, and a Masters in Intercultural Ministry (2002) from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
Candy completed the concentrated missions course at PCBBC in 1981. She received a BA in English from Westmont College (1976) and a Masters in Education Administration (2003) from the University of California East Bay.
They served their internship at Calvary Baptist Church in Bellflower, CA where David was ordained in 1981. David is the son of the late Leland and Mary Homer, veteran BBF missionaries to Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Candyce Homer went home to be with the Lord in December 2017.
David retired in May 2024.
