Harriett Carter
Barton and Harriett Carter were approved as missionaries to the Philippine Islands in September 1976. They had previously served in the Philippines as independent missionaries. The Carters served two terms as BBF missionaries to the Philippines before becoming missionaries to the Navajo Indians in 1985 where they served until their retirement in 1995.
Barton and Harriett both graduated in 1970 from the missions course at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. They served their internship at the Berean Baptist Church in Albuquerque, NM where Barton was ordained in 1970.
Barton went home to be with his Lord on December 15, 2022.
