Jim McCarty
Jim and Geraldine McCarty were approved as missionaries in May 1969. The McCartys resigned as BBFI missionaries in August 1982 until their reinstatement in September 1999. In September 2006, they became relief missionaries through the SMORS (Skilled Missionaries Offering Relief Services) program.
Jim graduated in 1968 from the pastoral course at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Geraldine completed the concentrated missions course at BBC. Their internship was served as a pastor and missionary.
Jim and Gerri retired in January 2017. After a prolonged illness, Gerri went home to be with her Savior on September 10, 2024.
