Joshua and Brenda Lei Casey
Joshua and Brenda Lei Casey were approved as missionaries to Spain in May 2019. They were first recognized as TEAM missionaries to Belgium in May 2014 where they served under the direction of Tim and Barbara Downs. Their sending church is South Side Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.
God has called them to serve in in Arroyomolinos, a growing suburb of Madrid, Spain to reach the spiritually disconnected and create a place of belonging where people can encounter Jesus in a real and transformative way. In a culture that is increasingly secular and relationally isolated, the Lord is opening doors for Gospel-centered impact, deep spiritual conversations, and the restoration of lives and families.
They have planted La Mesa (which means “The Table”) to be more than just a Sunday gathering—it’s becoming a spiritual family. Week after week, people from diverse backgrounds are coming together to explore faith, find purpose, and experience the love and grace of Christ.
Their ministry includes worship services, discipleship, counseling, children’s and youth outreach, and a growing calendar of community events. The Caseys are also developing a ministry center that will serve as a hub for workshops, Bible studies, kids’ programs, and other initiatives that foster connection and point people to Jesus.
They love people deeply and believe that true transformation happens when lives are shared and centered on Christ. God is working in powerful and unexpected ways in Arroyomolinos, and are humbled and grateful to be part of His mission.
Thank you for praying, giving, and partnering with the Caseys as they bring the hope of the Gospel to Spain.
