Max and Debbie Harmon
Max and Debbie Harmon were approved as missionaries to Peru in May 1982. From February 2005 - September 2007, the Harmons worked as USLG missionaries with Arden Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, TX before transitioning back to the field of Peru.
Max graduated in 1976 with a BA in Theology from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. Debbie graduated in 1975 from the missions course at BBC. They served their internship at Fellowship Baptist Church in Perryton, TX where Max was ordained in 1977. Fellowship Baptist Church in Perryton, TX became their sending church in 1982.
He pastored First Baptist Church in Geneseo, IL for almost 5 years. He was the first full-time pastor in its 100+year history. He led the church to establish a Faith Promise Mission program that has faithfully supported the Harmons and many other misionaries over 45 years now. (2023)
