Mike and Jill Ivey
Mike and Jill Ivey were approved as missionaries to Korea in September 1986. Mike graduated in 1981 from the missions course at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College, San Dimas, CA. Jill graduated in 1981 from the elementary education course at PCBBC. They served their internship at First Baptist Church in Aston, PA where Mike was ordained in 1985.
Mike and Jill have worked alongside the pastors and people of Korea since 1986 to start and strengthen churches, train both Korean nationals and international students preparing for ministry, facilitate international internships with Korean ministry opportunities, as well as finding innovative ways to minister in restricted access regions of the Korean peninsula. The Iveys permanently relocated to the southern island of Jeju in order to facilitate church planting focused on internationals who come to the island for education and work. Since its founding in 2019, Nations Baptist Church has ministered to people from 25 different countries.
