Bob and Sondra Winters
Bob and Sondra Winters were approved as the first BBFI missionaries to French Polynesia in May 1977. Because of the denial of their visas, they changed fields to the Samoan Islands in September 1988. Between September 1993 and September 2000, they spent extended time serving in Hawaii and French Polynesia. They completed their time of service in Hawaii. Bob and Sondra retired and moved to the mainland in August 2021.
