Shaun and Jeri Vance
Shaun and Jeri Vance were approved as missionaries to Kenya in May 2023. They have served as missionaries in Kenya since 2017 through another agency. Shaun and Jeri pursued degrees in science and biology until the Lord called them into ministry. Shaun graduated in 2017 with a Master's of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA, and completed a Master of Arts in Church Ministry in 2024 from Mission University (Baptist Bible College) in Springfield, MO. The Vances completed their internship at their sending church, Decatur Baptist Church, Decatur, AL.
Since 2020, they have overseen a ministry in Western Kenya made up of nearly 300 churches and 8 Bible school locations. In May 2025, the Lord led them to begin tansitioning ownership of the ministry over to national leadership. In December 2025, they relocated from Western Kenya to the capital city of Nairobi to plant a new church.
